Eco Print

ECO
PRINT

For my eco print I first took a large 12  x 18 piece of watercolor paper and tore it down into 16 small 4 x 3 rectangles. I drew some old doodles from my Figure Drawing sketch book on them and placed fruit onto each piece of paper. For the assignment I wish I would have mashed the fruit down flatter because my paper didn't stay clamped and I think I lost alot of the pigment  on the paper. After vinegar bathe my paper was tinted purple with small red and blue spots. I wanted more color so I put fresh fruit on top after boil. Here are some images.

  1. Yeah, these turned out really great. The muted color from the bath adds tonal depth to the image. The brighter spots really help. Yeah- tight binding of the packets really helps with vibrancy, but I think these turned out really well.
